ABX Air Hiring Sorters

WILMINGTON, OH - June 10, 2004 - ABX Air, Inc., is seeking employees to work as part-time, third-shift package sorters in its sort facility in Wilmington, Ohio.

"We have some good, part-time job openings and are looking for quality employees," said Valerie Scarfpin, Manager of Recruiting for ABX Air. "Part-time employees at ABX earn health benefits and more, making it a great opportunity."

Nearly one million packages are sorted each weeknight at the facility in Wilmington. While the airport was recently purchased by DHL, ABX Air operates the airport under a long-term agreement.

"We have a new on-line application process and are hoping to attract employees to ABX as well as streamline the process to apply, interview and become an ABX employee," added Scarfpin. "We are looking for employees who can work each week night for about four hours."

Start times could vary from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and transportation is available from the Xenia area for a small fee. ABX Air starting salary is $9.75 and offers an outstanding benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, 401K and more.
