Templeton Promoted at ABX Air, Inc.

Brady Templeton now Vice President of Ground Operations

WILMINGTON, Ohio - May 19, 2006 - ABX Air (NASDAQ-NM:ABXA) announced today that Brady Templeton has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Ground Operations reporting to Tom Poynter, Senior Vice President, Ground Operations.

Templeton's responsibilities will include overseeing operations at the Wilmington Hub, and throughout the regional hub network that ABX Air operates for DHL. The other departments within Ground - Quality Assurance, Training, Logistics, and Hub Planning & Development - will report to Poynter as a result of this new alignment.

Templeton joined ABX in January of 1992 as a project coordinator. He was promoted to Powerplant Contract Manager in 1994 and since has held key management positions, including Manager of Maintenance Services-International; Senior Director of Outbase Line Maintenance; and Senior Director, Planning & Technical Services within the Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Department. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and will complete a Masters of Science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University this summer.
