Wagner Named Director of Postal Operations

Focusing on USPS Contracts and Operations

WILMINGTON, Ohio - June 15, 2006 - ABX Air (NASDAQ-NM:ABXA) announced that Neal Wagner was recently promoted to Director of Postal Operations. He reports to Senior Director of Business Development Scott Glasser.

Wagner's responsibilities will include overseeing operations ABX Air currently runs for the US Postal Service (USPS), as well as engaging new business from them.

"Neal will be very strong for us in this role," said Glasser. "His background in USPS Logistics will be a big asset for ABX."

Wagner joined ABX Air in April of 2005 as Director of Linehaul Operations. Before coming to ABX Air, spent several years in the air freight industry. He started as an account manager for CF Air Freight in 1984. In 1988 he became a Sales Manager. Early in 1989, Wagner became a General Manager of Emery Worldwide in Memphis, Tenn. In 1993 he was named Western Area Operations Manager and in 1997 he moved to Director of Air Transportation for Emery's Postal Group. In 2001 Wagner became Director of Transportation and Planning for Menlo/Emery Worldwide. In 2004 he assumed additional responsibilities for the Menlo Worldwide Regional Hubs, and remained in this position during the UPS acquisition of Menlo Worldwide in 2004 until joining ABX Air.
